It is only a matter of days until we officially open the doors to our biggest leap yet. We sold our long time home with the idea of downsizing and having a 'low maintenance' life-style... So, we sold our 1 acre block with our 4 bedroom home, and 'downsized' to a 10 acre block with a 2 bedroom cottage... then we decided to build our dream home on the property and offer the cottage as a short stay accomodation.
We called the cottage home for over 12 months, and although she's smaller than our new home, she served us well. So we gave her a face lift, fixed her up, gave her a lick of fresh paint and now we are adding all the furnishings and throw blankets we can find to make sure she's welcoming and cozy for all our future guests.
We are so excited to open her doors to all walks of life. If you are coming straight from the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, if you are coming for a peaceful country escape to watch the most magnificent sunsets and hear the cows mooing, or you need somewhere to stay whilst visiting town for events or commitments, the Cottage will welcome you with open arms.
